Early in the days of XL.net, the intersection of technology and small business grabbed my attention as the challenges that small businesses face and the tangible results of strategic technology to accomplish their goals are ever-changing. Another benefits of building a new business is the ability to work and build every aspect of the company. During my time in each of the roles, my love of solving problems and new challenges kept me engaged and continued to push for progress both internally and with our clients. As we got larger challenges arose around management. After a few years of running operations and managing the team internally, it came time to run the company. While that time was very rewarding and engaging, I knew the direction of the company required some more management structure which led me into taking on the visionary role and rebuilding the underlying structure.
